Greg McSorley, Amphenol

Greg McSorley is a Technical Business Development manager at Amphenol Corp., responsible for driving standards development at Amphenol’s TCS and GIS divisions. In this role Greg is involved in many of the industry standards and associations in the server / storage market place, including INCITS T10, T11, SFF, IBTA, OIF and GbEthernet. Prior to Amphenol, Greg spent many years at Data General and EMC as a senior design engineer. He was involved in designing and testing systems for EMI integrity, and high speed interconnects. Greg also handled EMC’s server / storage standards for many years.

With over 30 years experience in the industry, Greg takes an active role in many of the trade associations related to the standards organizations. Greg is Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Fibre Channel Industry Association, Vice President of the SCSI Trade Association and Chair of the Ethernet Alliance High Speed Modular sub-committee.
